Re: Scotland on a small bike

Nowt better than riding with your Son, I did it a few years ago now in 2012 and it was the best feeling. He was on a Varadero 125 and we had arguments as I wanted to carry all the gear (Tiger 955i) His bike carried more than mine and never missed a beat. He now owns a 2011 Tiger 800 but those memori...

Re: Kawasaki Versys 1000 2012

Well" I bought it and.... what a machine :woohoo: I have only done 300 miles on it since I picked it up on Tuesday evening but these are way under-rated. So smooth fast and comfy. I do not do off road on bigger bikes tarmac only, and this bike rocks. I bet the new version is even better but for now ...

Kawasaki Versys 1000 2012

I may have asked the question before, Kawasaki Versys 2012 (are they that good)?

I'm looking for something different but in the adventure guise.
A bit of poke and comfort.
ABR a few years ago did a good review on it, cheers Alun.
Just wondering what owners think of it?

Cheers BB

Re: Price hike?

I remember the Japanese Imports in the nineties when the prices went through the roof, I had one a VFR800 and it never missed a beat in 40k.
I can see it coming again.
But I'm old so what do I know, :woohoo: :silly: :woohoo: :silly:

Re: FS: Bell Helmet - Star - Isle of Man TT

Too dear. Just my opinion. £199 all day. BB We all have opinions, the skill is in not feeling the need to constantly share them True.... But I know a lot of Riders from 1970's to now. If it were a sheene helmet yes. It is bog standard apart form a few graphics with the road maps on. It's still a ch...
