I use an old Samsung S2 (£20 off ebay) with an extended battery (£5ish) and run Viewranger on it. No sim etc inside, just download the area im going to. Battery usually lasts a whole days trail riding 6/8hours running just of battery, i dont have it hooked up. Just sits inside a handlebar phone case...

I know that certainly in Northamptonshire, the TRF has worked for us. Most of our greenlanes are open all year round to motorbikes because of their work, but closed to 4x4 9in the winter. Im hoping we're getting to the end of winter soon :lol: and they'll stop putting salt down so i can actually wash the bike and ACF50 off. Its looking filthy ;)

Great write-up and a really nice format. The derbshire TET is the closest one too me as im based in Kettering. Me and a few friends are hoping to travel along a few on our TTR 250's :D

I use Nikwax wash-in stuff to reproof my jackets. Makes the water bead up nicely on the outside :D

I'd recommend trying them on and not buying blind, as they don't to be the same size across the range.

I have a pair of medium inversion pros which fit perfectly, but a pair of the Klim element gloves in medium were way too big and seemed to be made for bigger fingers.
