I remember the advert where the bike hits the car and bounces off. That is not what happens in practice, if the bike is going slow enough to bounce off you are down to swerving speed (say about 40/50MPH) and just bank out of the way of the car. I am also going to the haggis bash but am using the car, Lanark always seems to have an artic climate at this time of year, expect to see -10 c on the temperature gauge.
