Re: Tesco's 10w-40 oil query

Most admit that I only use the best quality oil in my bikes, but suppose it probably really depends how hard you are riding the bike.
Lower quality oils will thin more at high temperature and the oil pressure will drop.
A problem that will be more noticeable with an air cooled bike.

Re: Speeding Warning

These fines raise a few questions, assuming it is not a scam, difficult to verify authenticity. Re: GSA front brake switch

Sounds like sledgegreen has the best idea, a small relay suitably rated for the current that it is switching would be pretty cheap on Ebay or similar.
You just have to find somewhere to fit it.

Re: Engine bolt kits

Must admit, I would use high tensile steel for engine bolts, just like your 1960's Triumph or Norton used.

I also joined in 2011 and remember that I had the first copy of the ABR magazine, so did the magazine first come out in 2011?

Re: New Member Joined With A Question In Mind

I think from all points of view, its too risky.
I used to a bit of cycling and there was this guy who used to turn up for the racing with his bike mounted on a metal frame mounted on his motorbike.
