What a good thread. Enjoyed all the comments lol. 690, 500 excf and 1090 Adventure r were all on my short list. A bike which could go on road, off road, provide confidence and had received good write ups. The 690 was a mixed bag of reviews just like this thread and to be honest put me off so it came...
I have a c3 pro. Most money I have ever spent on a hat. Didn't fit right on forehead and had to thumb in the padding to make it comfortable. Works ok now. Like the flip up face and built in sun visor. Got it cos I wanted Bluetooth for satnav which works well. Pin lock still fogs up a bit and mouth v...

If anyone knows something I don't ...
Barkbusters Had a fall today. Minor. Slipped in a muddy rut. Bike went down on corner of Barkbuster. Apart from minimal mud and very minor scratches all was well and could continue with journey. Thumbs up for Barkbusters. It went down on this side but you'd hardly know. Sump guard gives a clue of th...
Lowering kit for 1090R (or any bike !) I haven't bumped into any specific kits but I am heading to Stowmarket, Suffolk, in a month or so to see Darren at MCT. He is quite the expert all things motorcycle suspension. He's had both on and off road riding experience and has done 3 of my previous bikes....
Garmin Zumo Bought it with the bike and dealer fitted. It's been playing up since day 1. Blogs suggest poor battery life but think my issue is a dodgy cable from the battery into the back of the unit. Once off it won't always switch back on again unless I unclip the battery cable and put it back. De...
