Re: KLX 250 ???

But the KTM690/Husky701 is very expensive, complex and some examples seem to be of questionable mechanical reliability. Should rocker arms be a service item on a premium-priced, non-racing motorcycle, now? This is 2020, not 1920. I look back at the bikes that were the equivalent of the 690 30 years ...

talk about a gap in the market ..more like a chasem

Other possibilities include AJP and Fantic...if you can make the 'leap of faith' to a minor European marque.

But KTM was just that, once.

Re: Don't see these come up for sale very often

I was lucky enough to ride an Aprilia 450 at Rogers Hill Raceway...an absolute rocketship. Did a lighthearted write-up on the experience on the old TBM forum, where I compared riding it to being a sad middle-aged bloke making love to a very fit and enthusiastic young woman. I think the one I rode ma...

Re: The Yamaha Tenere thread

A (socially-distanced) trail-riding picnic in the West Country...sounds like a plan.

Re: Average speed cameras

I think most people see the link between government and sales/tax/purchase tax/ petrol tax/ road tax/ garage revenues/ etc etc etc I didn't think I needed to explain this   It also helps people think they are successful and happy because they have a new Range Rover or BMW on the driveway...
