Excellent bike the Tenere......mine took me off roading in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal across a couple of summers. Only sold it as I fancied a go on a KTM990!
Depends on what you want to use it for. I've had the Tenere and a mate had an 'R' and he went exactly where I went! If you get some decent tyres for it and don't expect to do too much techincal stuff it'll be fine......a wee bit heavy but it ain't gonna break
