Re: The Perfect Line Up

3 bikes eh? Well, I've had a Tenere 660 which was good for just about everything so if I had to have one bike it might be another one of those however to play the game; Bike 1 - KTM 990 Adventure (in the garage) for long distance stuff, including trails Bike 2 - Yamaha WR250F (in the garage) for pro...

Re: Getting Ready for Malta

Haven't tried them before so it's a bit of a punt! As for TKC's used them on my Tenere and thet were very good but I actually preferred the Mitas Dakar 09s which I used to go to Italy last year, doing loads of trails there and back. To be honest, if I were doing more trails on the Malta trip I would...

Re: Yamaha XT660R

Depends on what you want to use it for. I've had the Tenere and a mate had an 'R' and he went exactly where I went! If you get some decent tyres for it and don't expect to do too much techincal stuff it'll be fine......a wee bit heavy but it ain't gonna break

Re: Enduro style helmet

I bought one of the Uvex Enduro lids from a German website (something like FCmoto.de), having tried one on locally. Top quality, light enough and quiet when blasting alonmg the tarmac. The visor lifts high enough not to have to remove it when wearing enduro googles. I think the normal price from a ...
