Re: Huawei in europe and goggle aps

That’s an advantage with Apple.
We have our phones and iPads linked so contacts, bookmarks, apps etc appear on all four.

Re: EU. In or out?

At the moment, it seems clear that Parliament as a whole will never agree on anything, stay or remain. I guess those that see themselves being dumped whenever the next election comes along think they may as well go down being bloody minded rather than being honourable (whichever way they vote). It’s...

Re: Huawei in europe and goggle aps

Is this part of the general international we hate Huawei (?) argument going on? Have France banned them? That said, we had trouble with Google Maps for nav in Canada last month but think that was more from inadvertently linking offline maps through bluetooth in the rental car so directions were abou...

Re: North America, First and Second.

Cumbria is pretty hilly and Lincolnshire is pretty flat in some areas. :D Our first trip to the US was back in the 90’s and it was a New England tour. Driving up into Cape Cod there was a road sign giving 13 miles notice of a roundabout!! We think it was one of the first in the states. Banana defini...

Re: EU. In or out?

Obviously I’m not talking about EU migration  The migrants’ first country of safety is where they should stay. Fair enough, Malta or Cyprus can’t cope but farming them out isn’t the way to deal with it. The EU turns a blind eye in many many cases and just let them drift through and France, in ...

Re: EU. In or out?

It’s far far easier to justify the status quo than read a crystal ball. That’s not to say that I don’t accept it’s virtually impossible to specify what ‘improvements’ will come out of leave but if people and countries didn’t push the metaphorical boundaries then we would still be living in the dark ...

Re: EU. In or out?

I don’t have contempt for remainers, just disappointment with those who have contempt for leavers and make totally ignorant claims about our/their alleged but inaccurate xenophobia etc. Controlling legal and illegal immigration properly is a necessity but it doesn’t mean immigration shouldn’t happen...

Re: North America, First and Second.

I really don’t know how you coped with the fast food culture in North America. We were despairing after a few days. As you said though, New England seemed a bit more ‘normal’. Maybe even a bit more NZ like. It’s certainly a different world there. We mostly bought rolls and meat or cheese for lunch i...

Re: Yamaha Tenere 700 - Deliveries?

The red looks much much better than the blue ones the press have been using. How very dare you  Let me qualify.....the knackered looking single colour side panel in all the magazine photos doesn’t match the two colour one on the red version. Happy to change my opinion immediately if the bl...
