Re: The new AJP PR7 Adventure

I like the style and the relative light weight. It seems pretty well put together and either it has a lower seat height or it settles on its suspension lower than my DRZ400S. It is the full power version at 54 or 56bhp depending on where you read it. The bike is very smooth to ride and has a great ...

Re: Yamaha RD250C 1976 Rolling resto and daily rider

Great project, you are really getting on with it quicker than i would. I owned a few RD,S in my youth an RD250E ,RD200DX,RD400C,RD400DX,RD350LC X . Great bikes and they all suffered terribly from a boy racer who didn,t know his way around a tool kit

Re: Msr dromesdry water carry alternatives?

I have used Platypus 2 litre water containers for years they fit in your luggage easily and come with either a plain cap or click stop pouring spout available as an extra. When empty they roll up and take up next to no room.

Re: Bmwf800gs

Hi,these engines are known for their reliability with some members on the BMW GS forum seeing over 100,000 miles with no major issues. There was an issue with some of the early bikes cooking the stator coils but BMW changed the stator and flywheel on the later models. My 2009 model only had 16,000 m...

Re: |KTM 990R

Glad you sold the bike ok. I left this forum once because of the personal attacks on people, their bikes and the prices that they wished to charge for stuff they were selling. I agree that sometimes a gentle hint that you may be expecting too much for it or equally you are under selling yourself can ...
