Re: cumbria trip

Thanks for posting this,

I have two weeks holiday booked up in the area, having a caravan as a base and exploring outwards. Cant wait to do those passes now, as they were already on the list!

Re: What a weekend for ABR

Reading the threads and looking at some great pics, seems the ABR regional crews were out and about this weekend. What a great social place this is turning out to be. It's gonna be a great summer. B) B) +1 The South West group went out in the cold for a ride, then come Monday the sun shines :whistl...

Re: R&G Shocktube

Yep, have one fitted to my bike. A friend recommended it after fitting it to his 08 speed triple, kept his shock pristine. Ive yet to see the results on my 2010 versys though... Easy to fit (depending on location of shock), wrap around and velcro in place, run zip ties though and snip off excess whe...

Re: West country -wild weekend camping...

Thanks mate, looking about at several tents really.

I'll have to pop in at some point during the week and have a good look around. I'm not sure about going solo though, as SWMBO may want to go camping during the summer.

Re: West country -wild weekend camping...

Thanks for the info there guys... I almost bid on a vango zetes 400, but wasnt sure as the porch didnt look all that big, especially for bike gear. I plan to camp with it and SWMBO during the summer, so it needs to be spacious. As I'm only dipping my toes in the water with camping though, I'd rather...

Re: West country -wild weekend camping...

May be up for this one. Still looking for a nice tent though - I have my eye on the Vango Beta 350/450. I have one issue though... and on here I may be shot for saying this :pinch: I've never been camping, and I haven't ever put a tent up in my life. Maybe this is a trip where you can all la...

Little tea shop in lynmouth was nice, lynmouth itself picturesque with that nice stream running through it. I have to say thanks Peejay for showing me round som...

Re: Hello, be gentle.

I've had a Yamaha, two suzuki's and now a Kwakasaki. Lot of Beemer riders down my way don't nod which I find a bit unfriendly. I think theres a whole stereotype thing going on and it does sometimes seem evident out on the roads... That said I think the GS/A is a Great bike and give it a few years I'...
