With WP forks, it's worth depressurising the fork and also cleaning the dust boots and seals regularly.
Was told recently by an ex works KTM and Honda motocross mechanic to de-pressurise with the fork fully extended otherwise you set up a vacuum in use.

Re: 12v USB power question?

Wire it via a relay so it is only powered when the ignition is on.

Re: Solo rider emergency help spot 3 alternative?

Some years ago I put a free app on my old iPhone from the Essex % Herts Air Ambulance Trust (EHAAT). One touch on the icon brings up a map showing your position and map reference and with two other touch points. One is red saying "Call Emergency Services" The other is green saying "Ac...

Ehic won’t pay for the helicopter to get you off the side of a mountain with a broken ankle (July 2002, 1800 euros). Wife slipped while we were out for a walk near Arc 2000.. Won’t pay for a taxi from Bourg St Maurice hospital to Geneva airport. Won’t pay for three seats on a scheduled BA flight to ...

Re: new tent alert

I have a Robens which is brilliant--also a Vango with elasticated end for a simple tent extension. I also have a giant Coleman with one big hoop thats like a paraglider--perfect for summer use but not so good in a strong wind(but I have configured two short poles that support the hoop near the side...

For off-road use before moose’s used a stripped down 12v car one.
AA, RAC OR Rolson Etc all sell for under £15 from outlets like TK Max . Or visit Lidl/ Aldi
Take the cover off and you’ve got a great 100psi pump
Just buy one from your local petrol station.
