Ah A typical good old French approach and information to confuse most.
It is voluntary and not mandatory however it is mandatory in certain areas by that local authority :silly: clear as mud (thumbs)

I don't suppose there is, however I like my current Anakee 2 tyres, looking to change soon and was thinking of Conti trail attack 2 but never used these before, then again better stick with what gives confidence (for me that is) :)

Sorry cant help with th 9-11 however It sounds like the Gear potentiometr is playing up, I have the same problem on my 12gs easy to replace tho,
