Re: Aprilia Pegaso 660 opinions please

I had one for four years, went all round Europe and Scandinavia (+30,000 miles in all) and loved the bike despite it's "quirks". As someone else said, it just has something about it. I would happily have another. The quirk that really irked me was that it would not run in very damp (drizzly) conditi...

Re: A photo you took, today

Finally managed to get out on my mountain bike after first Man flu then a sprained ankle. No trail bikes around but quite a few mountain bikers

Re: Pinking and Vibration on 2017 2200 GSA

Yep I agree with what's been said but I'm also wondering about a sensors adjusting for conditions. I think there is a sensor in the cat that detects the exhaust gas composition and adjusts the injectors accordingly. If you're very high up in the mountains, there will be less oxygen and the injectors...

Re: Rear shock

Fit a spring set for your weight range....most enduros are based on 80kg max Interesting. I recently heard that manufacturers supply bikes centred on a rider (fully geared up) at 80kg with adjustments that cope with 60kg to 100kg, which I guess means pre-load. Anybody offer any further info? Person...

Re: Want a good laugh?

Hilarious

I now want an "oofa-doofa" for Christmas.

The thing that made me LOL was in the Spag Bol vid; "I'm doing this in two lots because the pan's not big enough for both of us" :o

Oh and half a block of lard but low fat mince.

Re: Is this corrosion?

First picture looks like corrosion, second looks like tar so?? YoYo's advice is what I would have said.
Front or back wheel? I would guess front wheel is more likely to be corrosion, back wheel to be road tar.
Road tar will come off with brake cleaner or even WD40 with a bit of a rub.

This really is becoming a forum for old ladies and big girls blouses.
I'm pretty sure you can't buy old ladies at Amazon but big girls' blouses are on sale at the moment with free delivery 8-)

Re: You've got to laugh...

Rats notoriously always are the first to leave a sinking ship. Perhaps you could develop that into an idea. My best was; close all the doors and windows and fill the house with water, that should flush the buggers out. Of course you'll probably have to remove all your furniture and stuff. Do it in t...
