Re: Best multi tool?
I'd used Leathermans for years but I bought a Victorinox SwissTool ten years ago and its just better. I can't kill it, the blades and screwdrivers have stayed true despite constant use. It's much more expensive but worth it in my opinion. Try one if you really want the best.

Well done - great trip and a great write up. You'd give Nick Sanders a run for his money!

Re: Work Case #3 Honda XR650
How good are they Is kick starting an issue ? Its a Honda from the time when everything they made was top quality - if you want a light, simple, reliable green-laner then they are great. If you want to tour Europe and like an upright riding position then buy something else... The power from a light...

Damn thats clean! I'm very jealous - I have a pair of xr650s but both are well used. I spent the weekend doing this to one of them... http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e289/intercepted/Bikes/20170606_223916_zpsq3kdv775.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e289/intercepted/Bikes/20170607_213837_zpsy...

This x 1000. Criss-cross the Pyrenees from Biarritz to Nagore to Oleron Sainte Marie to Jaca to Tarbes or any combination on either side.-Ralph- wrote:With 4 days I'd head South on day 1 and spend a few days in the Pyrenees. Pau to Biarritz is only an hour.

The fishing near me is unreal. I'm fifteen minutes on a bike from Lough Mask in Galway/Mayo - have a look and let me know whether you want full board or B&B!

Re: Gerry McNasty
Ah here, do you not appreciate the years of peace in NI since the peace process was brokered by a diverse group of individuals? 800 years of British oppression on this island have left us all with our own perspective and you can either move forward or you can keep taking sides and spitting hate. Pea...

Join up on xt660.com and as a full member you get access to bike manuals and loads more. I have an old Haynes for the xt660 but I'm guessing that's not what you are after.

Re: KTM 1190 ADV accessories power fault, no ACC2
Is there a fuse somewhere in the ACC2 circuit? How much power are you pulling through it (are the lamps bulb or LED)?
I don't have a heated seat but my heated grips have a separate connection in the space behind the headlamp - any chance you are looking at the wrong connector?

Re: christmas rant!!!!
Stop watching tv and stop looking at Facebook. Switch off your computer and go out for a spin on your bike. Get away from people for a while and be at peace in your own head. Recessions and wars will come and go. The world population is heading for a staggering 8 billion and not everyone gets the op...
