Re: KTM Heated Grips

http://daytona-global.com/products/?page=Products_SubCategs&mfrID=9&categID=13 Same as KTM ones and are about 52 quid. Just make sure you get the right size. My old throttle KTM ones perished, where the cables go in. Got the Daytonas and just swapped out the throttle side. Same connections everythin...

Re: KTM frame failure

Thats a huge amount of fuel/weight to be carrying on the rear plate, plus the tail bag. I wonder if that contributed to the failure. Bouncing up and down off road. Couldn't of helped. Been like a speed boat in the sand, which is the way to go.
Notice the mighty 990 still going g strong lol

Re: Tyres

Mefo super explorer rear, MT21 front. Run at normal pressures. Turn the front on rim every 1500 miles, or when the tread ramps up,and it'll last 5k easily on the road. (I personally just swap the discs over, quicker and saves getting the spoons out :P ) Usually change both at about 5k, but rear stil...

Re: Don't do this

Yep, does hurt. Did it on my old DRZ doing a Superman, going downhill :o throttle hand :? Strapped it up and then popped out about an hour later. Had to then ride 90 minutes home. Still prays on my mind 14 years later. As they say once its popped out, all your tendons etc stretch, so more easily don...

Re: Best website to buy SWISS VIGNETTE - or - Got one For Sale?

Avoid motorways and don't buy one. If you need one, they sell them at most petrol stations, in the surrounding areas, around Switzerland etc
Been through Switzerland three or four times, planned my route a d didn't get one. As in an emergency they are readily a available locally.
