Re: Er would you do this?
The fish eye lens makes it look a lot worse that it really is. Even so, I wouldn't do it.

Re: 18 month TRO Closure on Deadman's Hill in Nidderdale
It had been closed again only a few years ago for repairs where they also re routed it at the hill in question but again it was inadequate and again 4x4's started to damage it, so about a year or so ago a voluntary one way system was encouraged going downhill(south), but sadly the damage had been s...

Re: ABC try trials weekend
Slight change of plan - my mate Dave R is also on board. So I will zap another £35 over. Hope that's OK. If you can put us in the twin room, great. Of course, no probs if not. Cheers, Dave Edit: Just thought it was worth mentioning some background info... I have met Minkyhead and one or two others o...

Re: ABC try trials weekend
OK I'm in. The bunkhouse looks good, so up for that.
My mate can't get there until Saturday morning, so he is happy to be on the reserves list.
I'll zap the money over.
Thanks! This is an incredibly generous offer!!!
Of course I am happy to contribute to wear and tear, fuel, beer etc.

Re: ABC try trials weekend
Are there any places left?
Me and a pal are up for this, although we might go for local pub accommodation. I guess it depends what the bunkhouse is like.
What gear do we need? I only have MX boots and an "adventure" type helmet which might be a bit clunky for trials.
Cheers,
Dave

If he was bit brighter, he would have got you at 2 metres from the NSL sign. Maybe at 60MPH?Mawnanian wrote:
Well this Bugger probably belonged to MENSA. I'd gone through the village and was accelerating out, the NSL sign was about 200 metres away.

Re: Hard Enduro freeriding through PNG
Looks like an amazing place to ride!
Does time pass a bit quicker there? It all looks a bit speeded up to me (grass moves very quickly, damping looks super quick etc.)

Re: Coolest Trick on 2 Wheels?
If you are going to use a road bike it needs to be a couple of sizes too small and have specially built wheels though.ipswichbiker wrote:Also to show you don't need a mountain bike
The backwards front wheelie down Hardknott is deeply impressive.
