Well I'm sure you are all burning the midnight oil to find me some great routes, but just to let you know - I have now determined my route.

I think there is some distortion with wide angle lenses that makes this stuff look worse than it really is, that said, you wouldn't catch me doing that or this:

Dropped and scraped my bike for the 1st time

Wouldn't mind, but I did manage to ride quite a lot of technical trails and dropped the damn thing practicing trail skills on a tuft of grass!

Hmmm, sounds rather challenging, even on my KLX250.

At least the Old Coach Road looks easy, so I will include that.
There seem to be a few lanes around Skelwith Bridge, youtube vids indicate these are rideable.

I use my weight to advantage on the MTB and disadvantage (skills, lack of) on the Yamaha. With powerful brakes on both MTB's, I only need 1 finger for absolute control but I struggle the same with the clutch hand on the Yamaha.
