Re: Who needs a KTM to have fun!

You only need 3 or 4 things to have fun like that: A peppy little bike with a nice power band but not too capable Somewhere to make your own mini MX course, unmolested by NIMBYs, doggers, doogooders etc Youth... and girls to show off to. All I need now is a Delorean with a working flux capacitor, or...

Re: Re: YORKSHIRE SATURDAY BIG BIKE TRAILS ANYONE

LOL! That will have been about 12ish. Me and Barnie had a right fright when we went round the corner there must have been about 50 of them sat there. Wish the pic had been a few secs earlier. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk LOL: "Fearsome horde of walkers frightens meek motorcyclists"

Re: YORKSHIRE SATURDAY BIG BIKE TRAILS ANYONE

Arthur, hm interesting. In terms of the legality of the route, the correct route is on the left of the shot (ie the red arrow). The one on the right was created by some numpties in 4x4s and had apparently been filled in but water has already washed it out again. I have only been there twice. It see...

Re: YORKSHIRE SATURDAY BIG BIKE TRAILS ANYONE

http://s9.postimg.org/ol35df9kf/Deadmans.jpg Very strange how this looks so different from a different angle. Anyway, the step is on the steepest bit of the red arrow rut(that's what I'm calling the LH rut going up). I rode down the other 4WD rut yesterday, although I think I was in between the rut...

Re: YORKSHIRE SATURDAY BIG BIKE TRAILS ANYONE

Arthur, what step? i was there 2 weeks ago and no step that I remember? That was the question!! Over lunch we were talking about the rideability or otherwise of the steep bit of Deadmans. Will said that there was a rock step that even good riders on pukka bikes could struggle with. I rode it both u...

Re: YORKSHIRE SATURDAY BIG BIKE TRAILS ANYONE

Barnman - "KTM" and "Bimble" seem incompatible :) I was right!! -------------- Minky etc. thanks for a great day out. Thoroughly enjoyed it, I like the ride-rest-ride-rest-ride-lunch approach (thumbs) BTW, went down Dead Man's on the way home and kept an eye out for the step. It...

Re: YORKSHIRE SATURDAY BIG BIKE TRAILS ANYONE

I will be at the Long Preston turning for the back lane/track to Settle at 9:45am tomorrow - if I'm not there on time please don't delay on my behalf. Hopefully I can tag along with whoever is there (Minky etc).

Barnman - "KTM" and "Bimble" seem incompatible :)

Cheers,
Dave
