Re: speed cameras

Average speed cameras are excellent. On our miserably overcrowded roads they prevent the cocks from being too cockish and causing accidents and excessive stop-start behaviour. This results in overall higher average speeds for the majority. And if it saves even 1 road-worker's life, it's worth the ad...

Re: Zen and the art......

The bit where the author repairs the BMW's handlebar clamp with a piece of coke can has stuck in my mind most of my life. Re: Motorcyclist causes massive cycle race pile up.

I watched a bit of the TdY at the weekend. Why do they need 50+ poseurs on motorcycles before the cycle race comes through. Shouldn't some of those coppers be catching bad lads?

Re: Advice on tubes/tyres/punctures

I've changed a million push bike tyres. I assume it's just on a bigger tougher scale. MTB tyres, both tubed and tubeless, are extremely easy. I've successfully done two dirt bike tyres, but they were MUCH MUCH more difficult that bicycles! Then I tried to do an XR250R tyre after the owner kept nipp...

Re: 7 minutes of pain and anguish

I'm not sure if this is some sort of setup, although I really cannot see any reason why anyone would do that Anyway, this vid always makes me laugh. Great commentary:
