My mate has had enough of the old shoulder injury and subsequent arthritis, so he bought himself a new German shoulder back end of last year. Meeting up with him in the Alps next month to see how it handles the GS.

Gave up on the UK weather last month and drove down to the Sister-in-Law’s place in southern Spain with Mrs Spike and the dog. Great weather, and together with the desalination plants to supplement the nearly dry reservoirs, they now have enough fresh water in these parts to last until September, if...

“Come to southern Spain for some winter sun” they said.

To the delight of the locals, it’s been peeing it down here on the Costa del Sol for the last 30 hours, and not due to ease off until this evening. Much needed though.
