Re: Wanted XJ900 Divi
I think there is a bloke who actually strips these down to spruce them up then sells them on fleabay from time to time. been tempted a few times with the old yam shaft. He's often at Newark autojumble, sells parts and accessories for them as well. The bikes he sells are immaculate and not overprice...

Re: Spruce up spoked wheels
I've just fitted GS wheels to my 1150 Rockster and the front has a flat spot on it....not measured it but would guess it's a good 2-3mm and it runs fine....and that's on the road with Tourances. You've paid for it now, just chuck a tyre on it and try it, sometimes it's easy to get to picky about stu...

Re: Prescott Bike Festival - Next Sunday
Went to this last year, as you say, well worth a visit.
The hill climb is fun to watch, everything from supermotos to a Kwak GT750 with top box, panniers and his son on the pillion seat!

Re: Givi Tanklock Vs Bagster EasyTrail.
Another thumbs up for the Givi. Got a medium sized expandable bag, think it's around 15 ltrs. Its great for when we're on holiday as it comes with a shoulder strap as well as a carrying handle so is useful for when we're walking around as it gives somewhere to store the camera, phrase book and other...

Mmmm, might give that a try.steve_h80 wrote:Not a fan of peaks for road riding myself. For low sun I just put a strip of black tape across the top of the visor.
Sun visors are good but not for low sun as they darken everything including the bits I need to see.
Not very stylish I know but it wotks for me.

Re: Peak or sun visor?
Peak for me. My eyes are particularly sensitive to bright sunlight and the peak on my Bell open face is brilliant. Riding into the sun on a wet road however is a different story.....

Re: Do you believe what you read on motorcycle forums?
Subconsciously I think we all believe stuff at times....either online or by the spoken word. I also think we have the ability to filter out what we don't want to hear as well!
