The garmin topo maps are all based on local European mapping.. Ign in France and Spain too.... There are a few versions about... They show marked gr in red if I remember correctly and gr number and the chemin are black dotted lines.... Vvt are marked on signs or arrows on tarmac.... Legally speaking...

The French local communiteis have a big say in gr routes... But always marked up.... A map is useful as a guide but the ign topo is hard to beat in a GPS... The trails change from one valley to next and dept too... The tet is the best source.... Vvt trails are fun on a enduro...

Seriously any high mileage motorbike that's covered 100,000 miles and over 10 years old is really worthless maybe £500...yes it's your pride and joy and works just fine but it's has very little value.. The term "run it into the ground" comes to mind... You've had your moneys worth from it....

Make sure you underseal the T7 fuel tank because that will rust terribly... Unlike the plastic xt660z ones... Lots of info on yamaha possible recals for rusty under front of tanks... The spokes are same rusty shit.. And speedo etc.. My mate loves his but I still prefer my very old donkey of a xt660z...

New generation Oxford heated grips with auto shut off controller and either bar protectors for wind deflection or muffs if your a true all year biker.... Gortex gloves make a huge difference as they stop the wind chill compared to leather and synthetic stuff... You could always stuff your hands arou...

If speed isn't important then a honda 700 deauville is excellent and cheap as chips with shaft drive... Once rode the 650cc version down to Milan and back with zero problems... Comfort too... After all most of Europe has speed restrictions now...

Army gortex is okay for slow speed trail riding or walking... If used on daily commute the hydroscopic effect of water and air pressure force water through gortex... The motorbike clothing version is different.....

Don't fret Mr mannering their are others that are not computer literate... That's why paper is still excepted.... Carry a few copies showing dates of jab and the particular injection manufacturer... Download from Wales site to any pc and print off... Similar if you can get help download a pdf to you...
