My xt660z of 2009 vintage is at 85,000 mls no major breakdowns... Just keeps plodding along.... Fresh oil regularly is secret.... But most honda, yam and suzuki will do over 100,000 miles if looked after.... Ktms well they need regular beatings with a tree branch and garage visits.

May I suggest a rider training coarse before riding solo... After 20 years you'll be very rusty... Sure the insurance companies will ask... Its a commin sence safety thing... My mates do one every spring after not riding over winter... Instills confidence for them.. Happy biking... Best days in lake...

I have for many years used Gem as my recovery breakdown guys... The person not the vehicle is covered regardless of what they are driving or riding... Had to use them twice car and bike... Both times very good and efficient... In europe they use third party bit like most do.... The European bit adds...

Lol shit design for sure... My 12 year old xt660z had solid crash pads.. Never broken one yet.... Thought the T7 was supposed to be a world adventure bike.... Sure the defects will be rectified in the 2nd edition models....

Yes it's in the bbc headlines.... But not many are aware yet buying anything from Europe now may have a import duty applied by the delivery agents amount depends on where the good originated and type of goods etc even family gift packages..
