Re: ULEZ Expansion to M25 August 2023
Just looked, Heathrow is Slough. Didn't think that was London? It's inside Hillingdon and makes up the southern boundary for it. The western boundary for Hillingdon is the M25 but the ULEZ expansion would go to the boundary road for the airport. https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/ultra-low-emission-z...

Re: ULEZ Expansion to M25 August 2023
There is the slightest glint of hope with Hillingdon, Harrow, Bexley and Croydon being very strongly opposed to ULEZ expanding to include these boroughs.

Re: Dakar coverage 2023
It always used to be the snooker overrunning! Frustratingly the Eurosport coverage is comparatively quite good this year. Red Bull's Dakar Daily has been disappointing so far and seems like Mike Chen isn't following the bivouac but just reading a script in a studio, videos seem to be under 10...

Re: Dakar coverage 2023
As Hall said the Red Bull coverage is very good. Look on Red Bull TV on web, app, smart TVs, etc - the show is called "Dakar Daily". Lots of bivouac action and talking to their sponsored pilots. Obviously lots of moto and auto pilots but I'll miss the behind the scenes and under the covers...

Re: Warning china rugged phones
Has anyone ever looked into Fairphone? I realise they're still entry-mid level smartphone price and not "rugged" but with a rugged case perhaps. They have fully replaceable parts and a 5 year warranty. I see that the OS can struggle with high demands of a "daily driver" but for n...

I'm with BeMoto. Worked out cheaper than separate policies.
Same deal having to call to change details or bikes though but they don't charge a fee for the changes.

Re: Wunderlich brake/clutch levers - anyone buy/use them
One of my first points of call is looking at a company that makes adjustable levers and their fitment list. From that you can see what other bikes use the same lever fitment, sometimes you get OEM or another brand that has an adjustable as original fitment. Pazzo is very helpful for this https://www...

Re: Which Oxford hot-grips to choose ?
In my commuting days I was an avid heated glove user. Gerbing if you're interested, the controller was very easy to use when kitted up so you could adjust the heat to avoid roasting your hands. It's often necessary to adjust because of the wind cooling the gloves at different speeds. I was also told...
