Re: SUZUKI DRZ 400S 2002

GLWS! Looks like it's specced and cared for very well!

Real reason for replying - what length is that Black Widow exhaust? And how do you find the noise level?
Mine came with some manky Remus can shoehorned on and want to tidy it up.

Re: Does anyone actually make a trail bike?

CRF 250/300 would probably be my first option. It has the balance of having "enough" to pootle around, reliability, aftermarket support, service intervals, cope with a pillion (cope being imperative with anything in this range really). I'd probably also put WR250R and KLX250 in this bracke...

Re: The Suzuki DR thread.

garyboy Was just reaffirming that your understanding of the VIN/part number info was my understanding too  OK wow, thanks for all the feedback and input. Yes the bike is from a year where it seems it was only sold on the Japanese market. As part of cleaning it up I found this. But it's led ...

Re: The Suzuki DR thread.

Evening all, Anyone know how to find the colour code for a 1995 DR200 Djebel tank. It's purple. I've just had her repaired and serviced and she is running super sweet so I thought I'd refresh the looks :) Having trouble finding even images of a DR200 Djebel with a purple tank, let alone any parts l...

Re: Triumph Or BMW ?

The Tiger 800 XR is probably closer to the F750GS. Both of these have cast wheels and a 19" front which gives you a lower seat height. The BMW is (on paper) heavier with a 4 litre smaller tank. I would really try and test ride or at least sit on both to get a feel of how that weight is carried,...

Re: The middle of the road ADV's Africa Twin, Norden, s10

Wind management is a bit of trial and error and a bit of black magic  Unfortunately it can only really be tested by spending money. Or maybe time, skill, and a bit less money with homemade concoctions! Sometimes a huge screen isn't always the answer, or at least the most practical one. It can ...
