Re: The Suzuki DR thread.

I wonder if someone can help me please, I remember a post from a couple of years back that was addressed to PhilinFrance reference doing the TAT (Trans America Train) on a DR 650 but I can’t find it anymore (sorry I had stared it but it’s no longer in my list, well the hole list has gone, it’s been ...

Re: How old are we. Poll.

Soon to be 49 next month. Been riding since I was 14 years old on and off. Moved to the UK back in 91' and never left. For the last 15 years I have had a bike (at one stage more than one) here in the UK and enjoyed a lot inspite of the weather and when I go back to Italy I have 2 DR to play around w...

Re: The Suzuki DR thread.

For those of you that have Facebook, there is now a new page dedicated to Suzuki DR 650 for UK & EU bike members if you are interested: Suzuki DR Riders (UK & EU) Only I know there are many more pages out there from all over the World, but it might help the community for information & pa...

Re: Ducati Multistrada 950

I know this is no consolation for us in the UK, but seams like Ducati Italy is stuck with a lot of MT 1200 & 1200 ADV back in Italy, sales haven't gone to plan. Also with the New MT 950 now for sale, I am sure bargains (or a good haggle) with dealer should get you a half decent deal.

Re: Wanted Dr650 crash bars.

I wrapped it to try and keep the heat away from me from the exhaust. It sort of works a bit. So you bought the bike in Germany and you are taking it back there in February   . The Elefant Treffen is a great meeting of Bikers and I have been told great fun, not so sure about the snow you co...

Re: Wanted Dr650 crash bars.

They look very nice, better than mine  . Nearly wish I bought yours instead of mine  , they also fit better and protect more. I have to admit mine are for the non fairing version of the DR and are also from Hepco & Bekker. As for the finish you might want to cover them in ACF50 jus...

Re: Eurobike Transport

Well my DR arrived in Rome 5 days after shipping from here all in one piece and with no damage. Now the fun starts as I have to get it registered in Italy and all that goes with it. As for the service from AnyVan.com if was good all in all but I would not send an expensive bike with them but in my c...

Re: Eurobike Transport

Well looks like I found a cheaper way. For £330 they will collect from home and deliver all the way to Rome to final destination. Bike will be going in a Van all the way down in 3 to 5 days. Yes it won't be in a cradle like with Eurobike but that is fine as it's my DR and not my XTZ. Possibly I am t...
