Re: MOTs for Bikes In France? Non!
Sounds logical to me, makes me wonder why need an MOT in the UK. I think 99% of people who own and ride bikes over here look after them to a point where they are spotless. Rare to meet a biker that doesn't have a good grasp of machine mechanical safety. Common sense says it will hurt you if left un...

Re: possible a2 changes to cc
Yeah I have to agree there. MOD1 FAIL, REPEAT, FAIL, REPEAT. A single part test is a lot to plan for but you only had to pass one test. My dad passed before the 2 part practical came in as he didn't think he could pass with the 2 part. Mod1 in a controlled environment is a safety improvement. Some o...

Re: possible a2 changes to cc
They have made it near impossible to get a youths into riding. You can have a scooter to get around on when your 16 but then you look at what you can get passing your 125cc test at 17. Give up on the idea of bikes and pass your car test ASAP. You pass a test on a 125cc at 17. Can ride a 125cc withou...

Re: Honda Varadero 1000 xl va-4
Yes, i have one, but its attached to the bike i ride. Looking for used OEM may cause issues as there is different preload knob setups on ABS and Non-AbS bikes. Aftermarket ones without remote or piggyback reservoirs will be interchangeable. YSS do some cheap and fairly reliable shocks along with Hag...

Re: Quality small compressor
Yeah, what Yoyo said. My vstrom had loads of space under the seat, but when I swapped to a Varadero I was very disappointed with the underseat space. I ended up smashing the glued together mini compressor case, replacing the lighter socket plug with croc clips. Many of the accessory sockets oem fitt...

Re: Cruiser riders
I've seen quite a few young lads on Chinese bikes in shorts and shirts, flip flops... with gloves bombing around the estate where I live. The Harley guys around here (or at least the ones I've seen) seem to be dressed in decent gear, but then wear a scull cap helmet from the US. There is also a guy ...

On that picture of the Honda brochure there a CX500c... I almost forgot there's a CX500ec sitting in bits in my garage.
