Does anyone know how to adjust the tickover easily as I am finding the access rather difficult?

As for the taller screen, as far as I am aware, one cam be purchased off of aj Sutton. But in my opinion, it is not needed as the shorter black screen does fine for the speeds that the bike can achieve. Hope this helps.
