I think this globalisation effect is across the board in UK, and probably eu too, engineered by collaborative governments and big firms, for more profit. Greetings Bill, Thank you for your suggestion, yes I have. I disconnected the coils from the rest of the wiring, made a copper ht lead and cap, used a dedicated live and earth with a fully charged battery but still only the very faintest of a spark. Can't you claim off your house insurance and they will persue the cable company for recompense.
It's not act of nature flooding if caused by a contractor.

Hugh, have you tried just manually triggering the coils with it just connected to a battery to see how good the spark is?
