Not everyone's cup of tea but I have done lots of touring around the NC500 over the years and use hostels. Lots of them have breakfasts and lots sell alcohol now so you can have a drink at night. If you choose the remote ones off the transport links they tend to be quieter. Another option if you are...

Welcome to the forum, I've been following your bike mods on advrider. New Zealand looks great to ride.
A few of us have Himalayans on this forum but most of us haven,t had them long and its winter here so not many long trip stories yet.

I have a friend who is a helmet technician with HJC and he says the same as everyone its scrap, but he did say don,t throw it away as some old helmets in as new condition with classic designs are in demand with collectors and documentary makers, maybe if yours falls into that category and you put it...

Quite a few do it, mine too. You could join the Royal Enfield Himalayan Owners UK FB page, they have some ideas. I am hoping its a cold ambient temperature thing that will disappear when it gets a bit warmer. Its 10c here tomorrow and I'm off for a big run, report to follow.

Hi Mike Apart from Loch Lomond area which has special wild camping regulations, wild camping is legal and the right to roam access bill in 2003 gave wild camping rights on unenclosed land. A quick fix is to grind a little of the side stand stop. If you do this go easy and check the angle after a few seconds as you don,t need much off
