Re: Hi fellow RE Himalayan owners, and all adventure riders!

I kept mine to the recommendations as per the manual (page 69) and haven't had any problems. Up to 8k now with a couple of 10 day tours i know a few folk that have thrashed them from day 1 and also haven't had problems either. Not much help really then  Plenty info about the bike on the UK Hima...

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.

Sorry to hear your having problems Mike. I had misting so bad I couldn't see the digital info. I tried all the fixes which I have posted on here but no change. The UK owners FB forum is full of similar stories. Eventually I drilled a couple of holes and that fixed it for me. It is unacceptable to ha...

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.

Great pictures and looking good for the Himalayan.
Well done you for having the faith to experiment with something new.
Plenty folk doing long trips on the Himalayan, our own nathan and the ubiquitous Itchy Boots spring to mind.
Maybe better to travel glacially slow than not at all

Okay it doesn't zip in but it is far superior in terms of warmth. They always have various sales on and if you go with your jack...

Re: Interesting experience at Roy Pidcocks Derbyshire today.

You would think on a 10/11 grand bike they would make enough to include stuff like this in the service cost, it probably took longer for the mechanic to communicate to his boss that your chain was slack and for his boss to communicate that info to you than it would to adjust the chain. What next you...
