Re: break down!!!

I was travelling quite slow as the vis and conditions were absolutely appalling. The slush from passing lorries was hit...

Re: Gloves - in or out

Unfortunately any rain that does hit your arm will run underneath and eventually get down to your wrist. Yes they are expensive but very good, I had had an electronics 'geek' draw me a diagram which will switch the dip spot with my dip light and switch both main spot AND dip with the main bulb, hence floodi...

Re: Lights

I also have a Tenere and the lights are the worst I have ever had on a bike. I once went down the HID route in both dipped and main. The problem was that when you switched from dip to main, the element took too long to heat up and if you were 'making progress' there was a distinct lack of light and ...

I'm in Huddersfield but recovering from two broke knees at the moment. Cannot decide whether to sell XT660Z and get a lower bike or not yet!

Re: Muffs - fitting over Barkbusters

I use the Tucano muffs as well over my barkbusters and can confirm that the system works very well. I have heated grips and just use thin gloves all year round now which I personally think is a lot safer that using thick gloves. I don't do wet hands neither. These muffs are so easy to fit that I som...
