I'm not sure the colour's a good match.

Honda NC750X DCT
400 miles of B,C or unclassified roads through the Tweedsmuir Hills, The Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales. More to follow. The bike ran well the whole way. I kept it in D for most of the way, aiming for the speed limit where conditions permitted. The average MPG settled about 70mpg and gradually ro...

Honda NC750X DCT
I bought a blue x DCT a few weeks ago. The 600 mile service is booked in for this Tuesday, so I was finally able to go for a proper ride yesterday, and get to know my new bike. 400 miles of B,C or unclassified roads through the Tweedsmuir Hills, The Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales. I wasn't sure if...

Re: ccm gp 450 happy day
Back to fuel lights, if your fuel light works at all, it's from a sensor built into the BMW fuel pump. as the CCM tank is a different shape, it's probably set for too low a level. It might only take a slight upwards bend on a float arm to "recalibrate" it, but you'd need to take the pump ...

Re: ccm gp 450 happy day
oh dear ...yes the low fuel light is far to late i ve done it too ..if you jump up and down like a lunatic you can usually get another mile or so out of it but not pracyical on the motorway as far as i know the order of play at ccm is 150 sitfires ..150 spitfire scramblers and then the gp600 Is the...

ccm gp 450 happy day
The press release that first announced the spitfire also briefly mentioned a GP600, so very little doubt that will be thesame SWM 600cc single used in the spitfire, SWM 650 and AJP PR7. Somebody somewhere mentioned it's about 10kg heavier than the BMW 450 engine, and it gives out about 55 bhp in sta...

ccm gp 450 happy day
Mine runs fairly well, except on slight downhills where you want just a touch of engine breaking. 99% of the time, on or off road it's fine. That's bog standard factory tune with nothing extra. I still think there's probably some way to tune out the lurching on overrun, by calibrating the TPS to mat...

Re: ccm gp 450 happy day
I've only done a couple of hundred miles on mine. The first 20 miles were stop/start traffic......defiantly not the ccm' s strong point, but I'd sooner ride it through traffic than my CBR 600! I would imagine it wouldn't be great for the more technical trails. I have to agree, a CBR 600 is not the ...
