I've just put a R1200GSA rack on my R1200GS and want to be able to use my Vario topbox on it at times. The normal mounting plate holes don't allow the plate to be used with a modified clamp set-up, therefore,does anybody know of anyone who makes an adapter plate that will fulfil this role?

Why not buy a double airbed from Argos and take two double quilts in compression bags from home? That way if you don't like it you've only spent £25 on an airbed that you can use at home to put guests up.
