Re: BMW GSA Crash Bar Bags
I've got a pair of these and they are very well made and an excellent fit. They take lightweight waterproof jacket and trousers easily and keep my knees nicely out of the wind ![Smile :-)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Re: Michelin Anakee 3 Tyres
Just had a pair fitted and we're off to the Stella in a couple of weeks so we'll see how they go. Nice to hear the feedback from Redmurty and I'll let you know my opinion when we get back.

Well done to Browndog, a great result for a slightly nervous first timer on a very big bike. Much respect ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Re: Your first 'adventure' on a motorbike
1981 and a trip to Il de Re, not much to it really, or so we thought. I was on a Yam SR500 and my mate on a R80/7. Cheltenham to Portsmouth, ferry to Cherbourg, and then down to la Rochelle and 10 days camping by the beach. French fisherman decided to strike and blockade the channel ports so we had ...

I'm getting a set put on my 1200GS in a couple of weeks, when the Tourances have run out, ready for the Stella trip in July. I was quoted £220 fitted by Pro-Tyre in Gloucester

Re: Vango Equinox 250 Tent Withdrawn
I'm withdrawing this from sale for the following reason. I bought a Jack Wolfskin Time Tunnel III tent yesterday from Cotswold outdoor and I was disappointed with it when I put it up at home. One of the tensioning straps was incomplete and would have been difficult to repair, the rear vent panel was...

Vango Equinox 250 Tent Withdrawn
For sale after buying a slightly bigger tent for me and the wife. Only used twice for one night each time. Good size tent for two people and huuuuuge for one, with a large porch area and access doors on both sides. Long enough sleeping area for me at 6'4" and not too low to get in and out of. A...

Re: touratech travel event
Booked it, packed it, done it and now back home after a pleasant weekend. Nice to meet a few more ABR's there and enjoyed a couple of the lectures. Nice ride out with local lad Steve up to the reservoirs via Llandovery and Llangadog on Sunday. Didn't spend much there but am now skint due to a trip t...
