And the following morning it was getting a little cold, hence the frost on the seat and ...

Guess What .... Its here .... now packing up ready for its first trip away tomorrow

I'm sorted, spoken to Performance Triumph aka "Knotts" and the bike and accessories are sorted price agreed and will be delivered next Friday B)

I have ordered the Sprint GT, and I am about to ring Knotts/Blade to see if they are open and if so I'm going down to setup the deal again.

Yes I had a call from Triumph on Wed saying that they expected to be open.
I tried to call today but no answer, so tomorrow i am ringing to see if i can get my new bike.

Thought I'd join the site to add to this. I also had two personal bikes inside Knotts when they went into receivership, but got them back within the week. The MD had left us a message and he was true to his word, there was no question.

The word out is that Knotts have been bought by the Blade ...

I would probably go and get another test ride on the sprint. Maybe this whole episode has made you forget what you loved about it.
If you don't wont it after another test, then Id say stick with what you have got until there is a bike that you lust after. ;)

Triumph Sprint GT - But the reviews have been a little lack lustre, My 2005 ST was absolutely excellent but the passenger seat was crap.

Good news I have my bike back... took a little while but never the less its back. I just need to sort out a new deal.

Should I go for the Triumph GT or something else Kwack Z1000SX?

Also there is a slim possibility that Knotts will be back on line in a week or so
