Re: EU. In or out?

Where is all this EU money. My home town is literally falling apart. All but one factory closed. High unemployment. Whole streets derelict. Roads potholed and crumbling. Shops boarded up and in an attempt to cover it up by the council tarps stretched over them and painted to resemble thriving busin...

Re: EU. In or out?

I talked specifically about the employee tax (which the company doesn't pay, the individual does) and the contribution to the economy (eg taxis, office space, lunches, stationery etc etc) none of this impacted by any tax dodging the company does or doesn't do. So what was your point? Did you? I did...

Re: EU. In or out?

Good idea, let's try wrecking the economy and send a lot of multinational companies running out of the UK taking their highly paid jobs (and the income tax plus general spending) out of the UK. Re: brexit and your right to be proud of your country

I will never understand people who express "pride" over a land mass. Accidents of birth hardly seem to be something worth celebrating. Absolutely. But I can be ashamed over the way my nation is acting. That's quite a strong word. What are you 'ashamed' of? I can't speak for Steve but pers...

Re: Putting diesel in your bike

Up at my local bike repair shop today getting a new tube fitted in the 660Ten after pulling a 5 cm steel pin out of the tyre and he had just finished flushing diesel out of a bike. It had carbs fitted (probably just as well) he had just got it running again, some smoke. Surely this must be pretty u...

Re: EU. In or out?

Well seems that this topic is not going to end.and we seem to have all the answers about what, were, how and everything that we need to fix this. Perhaps we should all go and work at Westminster lol, certainly I know that much, that I don't want to see Farage and his bunch of miscreeds in parliament...

Re: EU. In or out?

It seems (as I've pointed out waaaay earlier) that having less immigrants will hurt your economy.
