Re: Insurance rant ( again)
I really don't know why people bother with the big boys. CN, Bennets, Devitt DA , Norwich punyone etc. They are ( to paraphrase one of Steve Bell's cartoon characters ) all absolute Ouanquers. They all play the punters off against one another and the punters all move round from one to another, no r...

I had a Hagon shock on my Street Triple. High quality kit that did a great job and looked good. Also customer service is very good.

Re: Merc driver needs his license taking away
Lots of very sensible comments. There are loads of dicks like him. I filter and do my thing and let them show themselves up. Getting angry, reacting and gesticulating just shows us bikers up as other car drivers will see us but probably miss what caused our reaction. Plus a car can put anyone of us ...

Re: Sorry Newbie Insurance Question (I did search honest)...
I had my 2 bikes and car with Carole Nash. Bikes now with Bennetts on a combined policy that was less money than the best Carole Nash could do for one bike. It still includes same mileages for each bike, breakdown / recovery across Europe, clothing/ helmet and legal cover and same low excess. I can ...

Re: 42ltr or 58 ltr
FWIW If you plan on doing a lot of filtering the 58l will make the back of your bike a lot wider and it could also interfere with any top opening hard panniers you may fit later. I filter with no issues on a R1200GS with the collapsable vario side panniers overall with is around a meter so I cant s...

Re: 42ltr or 58 ltr
If you join the Tiger800 forum you can find loads of posts and photos of both. There is a huge thread just showing hard luggage options. FWIW If you plan on doing a lot of filtering the 58l will make the back of your bike a lot wider and it could also interfere with any top opening hard panniers you...

Re: Manchester arena bomb
I am hearing a lot of rumours that an event I am attending next month is a listed as at high risk of an attack. Is there such a list available to the public or is it just social media rumour control being busy again? Not that it will stop me going as I am not giving in to these twats! I can't talk ...

Re: Manchester arena bomb
I've got to admit this got to me. I went home through Victoria station last night and there were loads of young girls at Vic waiting for the gig to start. Most were between 12 to 16; all giggling and having fun. Many were with their mothers. Since 08.00 this morning I've been providing support to ra...
