Re: Scottish Isles 2014
Great report and amazing pictures. I'm heading up to Mull next weekend, not sure I'll get the same weather you had.
Thanks for posting.

Re: Suzuki XF650 Repair or RIP
Thanks guys,
Just drained the oil and it looks like all the petrol has flowed into the engine! So I've just drained about 3 litres of petrol instead of oil.
Is it worth doing an oil change and putting fuel back in the tank or is going to just flow back into the engine?
Cheers!

Re: Suzuki XF650 Repair or RIP
I don't think it's the lines (could be wrong), it wasn't leaking prior to getting it out of the garage. I might start stripping it down just to see. I don't want to end up with a stripped bike sat in my garage for the next 10 years. If I decide to get shut I'll post here first, I know they're not th...

Suzuki XF650 Repair or RIP
I bought a Suzuki XF650 as a second bike years ago, for the last couple of years it's sat in the garage with no MOT. Got it out a few weeks ago and the battery was dead, so I thought I'd have a go at bump starting it. 5 minutes later disaster! Petrol started pouring out of sprocket cover, pushed it ...

Re: Apple or windows
Mac every time for me and used Macs for 20 years. I have a 27-inch iMac, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air and Mac mini. I use Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier for video editing, sometimes use iMovie but it's very basic (great if your just getting started). My MacBook Air only has a 256GB drive so it's a l...

Re: Any Mac experts out there???
Download a program called Disk Inventory X it will show you in a very easy to understand visual representation of your hard drive what is using what. I'd also be considering one of these : http://www.scan.co.uk/products/3tb-seagate-stbv3000200-expansion-external-usb-30-20-desktop-hard-drive-black-p...

Re: Any Mac experts out there???
Depending how many base camp maps you've installed they can take up quite a bit of space, I've a few different maps on mine and between them they're around 30GB. Try to keep as many files (especially large ones on an external drive), clear the cache files for deleted programmes from your library/cac...

Re: Taller screen for F650gs
Can't seem to find the Isotta adjustable screen for a 2012 F650gs Twin on M and P, they sell on eBay but not the 08 onwards model. Nippy Normans are selling the Wunderlich screen for £179.00, a bit more than I wanted to pay!
