Cleaning out my gutters and tidying the garden. Closest I'll get to the bike is oiling my chain this weekend.
And I'm sure the next free weekend I have it will pee it down, that's how it rolls!

Re: Taller screen for F650gs
I bought the Wunderlich one (Badged as an Isotta so cheaper) for my 800GS and it was great. It did move a little at speed (100mph +) but didn't break or annoy me. It barely touched my barkbusters on full lock and survived a few falls. I put a few words together on it here: http://www.elige.co.uk/re...

Re: Taller screen for F650gs
Cheers for the responses, my current screen is the SE version which I believe is the same as the F800 screen (slightly taller than the standard F650 one) but I still get lots of buffering over 70 mph. I've noticed the newer Wunderlich Ergo Iron Man comes with a brace, presumably to combat the moveme...

Taller screen for F650gs
I'm looking to purchase a taller screen for my F650gs SE to try and reduce buffering. I've seen these on eBay, does anyone know if they're any good? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-F650GS-08-14-F800GS-08-14-200MM-LIGHT-TINT-FLIP-TALL-SCREEN-/181442048843?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item2a3ec9f3...

Re: 4 Days in Scotland
Many thanks for the suggestions, it looks like Arran is the place to visit. I had thought of heading down to Campbeltown along the B842 and backup the A83 and it looks like that will now be extended across to Arran. After that I'll be heading up to Mallaig (which now seems like a bit of a stretch!) ...

4 Days in Scotland
Hi all, Last year I spent 4 days riding in the west of Scotland, starting in Dunoon and visiting Otter Ferry, Inveraray, Oban, Glencoe, Killin, Loch Tay, Callander and Aberfoyle along the way. I had a fantastic time riding single track roads, staying in B&Bs and enjoying pint or two in the eveni...

Re: kevlar jeans.
I've a pair of Held jeans, very comfy and not too expensive. Bought from Get Geared in Leeds, also bought stuff from them online and always got a good service.

Re: Back to Scotland
Thanks everyone for the advice, I might head up to Fort William then across to Mallaig and consider heading over to Skye. I need to plan how far I can get, as I usually head up on a Thursday afternoon and stay in Inverkip before getting the ferry across to Dunoon on the Friday morning and have 3 day...
