Re: NEW LICENCE
Tick the box that says you have lost the current one..then you can miraculously find it again if there is any difference to the new one ... I always do this (thumbs) Me also, never yet sent in my original. At my age, over 70, 1. I have an excuse for forgetting where it is or losing it, 2....

Got Sena10S range no problem in UK as have 4G on phone as has son. If need to be further than 1mile just switch to phone favourite and communicate on mobile via Senna bluetooth same as i get GPS audio from iPhone TomTom App when touring alone.

Before and after operation.
And lunch Note Red Wine.
Initial worries about not being able to use left hand on clutch proved unfounded and I was back riding in 2-3 months.

Re: So who has bits of metal screwed in them?
In 2014 I broke both my wrists at the start of a biking trip in Provence, Fountaine de Vercluse to be precise. I had just parked bike and was walking in the town. A young lady biker was trying to start her bike and just as I passed her it started. I, of course, turned my head to see her and tripped ...

Re: Where, what we doing next year...biking thread lol..
Good thread Russ. Hadn't given it much thought yet, but having had a forced time away from the bikes this year you got me cogitating now ! :) Question : Do you remember the name of the place where I met you one time at that free overnight roadside stop, a little way north of Phil's in France ? That...

Re: Bike cleaning
I'll second that just had 4 bikes done. Excellent job well done with no effort from me apart from wheeling bikes out the garage. (Joel would have done that as well if I'd wanted.Redmurty wrote:All year biker (thumbs)

Re: Ferry v Tunnel
The problem if you live in the north west or north is the trip to folkestone. even on a bike the traffic is always crap so you need time. if you get the ferry its even more time - it can take easily 4 hours to folkestone from the north west, sometimes more. By the time you then get there early for ...

Re: Ferry v Tunnel
I've just priced up a trip across to Europe and back. My preferred route is Hull-Zeebrugge because it's 200 miles closer to home than Folkestone for the Tunnel. Early October, Transit Custom van, me, wife and dog. £868 for the Hull ferry and £190 for the Tunnel. Nearly £700 more expensive for the f...
