I have a Honda xr600 its great for touring and easy green lanes , shes a bit heavy nowadays and she's kick start only , but she'll keep up with traffic on the roads and easy to work on being air cooled . I also have a drz400e Great bike but for what you looking for i would say if your going to get a ...

It was a nice day so i thought i would get the Triumph warmed up and give the BSA a run , the XR600 and DRZ400 are used all year round .

Thank you jonperry64 for posting that , I've also cut the end of the vents at 45 degrees something I ones read in a book to stop mud from blocking the end of the hose ? Don't know if it works but I'll give it a go

I think tomorrow at the classic bike show, I'll get some more breather pipe ad some T connectors and then run one breather up under the seat and one down . My xr600 would run in water up to its seat and think nothing of it, and here's a vid to prove it

Has anyone else had problems with the carb sucking in water on there drz400e ? My last green lane run was wet , very wet and on a water crossing the drz just stopped , we found out the carb had sucked in water somehow ? I checked the air filter it was good and clean and no sign of water , So i asked ...

For a tow rope I take paracord you can get it in different strength's and it packs down small , ask at your local ex army shop for it
