ISS spotting

Just dragged my family outdoors to spot the ISS. Due at 10.08pm over Edinburgh. No show. Anybody know Tim Peake's number so I can complain. :P Seriously, though. Re: ALDI are doing bike clothing from thursday

Bought waterproof trousers and padded gloves today.
Seem well made and perfectly suitable for my 10-mile-each-way commute. (thumbs)

Only time will tell.

Re: She's at it again....

If, or should that be when, there is another referendum then it should be binding for a fixed time period to prevent this becoming a regular threat should they vote to remain. I think 30 years would be about right but only my opinion. How about the 'fixed term' before another referendum being the l...

Re: Amazing what women can get away with....

The salient bit of information here Simon is that the article appears in the Daily Mail. Richard has made the jump to assume the child is not dependent. I would say the opposite, it says single mother = dependent child. The degree is irrelevant. It also appears in these media outlets: https://www.t...

Re: She's at it again....

I think that she did not really have a choice. Of those who voted in Scotland in the EU referendum the significant majority wanted to stay in the EU, May seems determined to have a hard Brexit which the majority of the UK did not vote for. What I don't really get is why those who voted Brexit for '...
