I went in 2007 with the BTBC. I was riding a Transalp with Tourances, the weather was fine but there were all sorts of bikes. Road bikes, trail bikes, motocross... you name it, they were there and tyres weren't an issue. There were some uphill, stepped sections but road bikes were getting past OK. O...

I know; as we all have 'adventure' bikes shouldn't we be making our own new track, 'as the crow flies, from buxton to macclesfield!

I'm with Hornet My 'Happy place" is my garage, fettling, adjusting, servicing , cleaning. in fact any excuse! Radio on, Mug of tea, raining outside. The satisfaction you get from improving you bike/s doing a good job gives a feeling of , well can't put a description on it really, but if you do...
