Another fix from the XT660 site was eaves bird comb fixed on with heavy duty double sided tape. Its normally only a pound for a metre length. Fixed onto the tank where the forks come through and disrupts the air that causes the buffeting

Great scenery along this road, you pass a sign on the right for Auchterarder and then a sign on the left for Comrie, take this road B827, map shows a danger area on the left, wonder what that is about. Freeloadeur, Thanks for the write up on the panniers, ive been looking at them on the web. I was looking at this product for keeping the panniers away from the exhaust. http://www.adventure-spec.com/default/hot-springs-exhaust-heat-shield-by-giant-loop.html I dont know if it would be any good. Ian

I made the mistake of not pumping the pistons out before stripping my bike down for a rebuild. I had thrown away the original lines and was waiting for my braided lines to be delivered so was stuck trying to get them out. I ended up using my grease gun which I screwed into the caliper and with a few...
