London-Greece 16 June - JOIN ME !

Hi there. I'm leaving London 16 June via tunnel and then through France/Germany etc to Venice and ferry to Greece. Is anyone riding east that day so I can join them, or would anyone like to join me ?

I have a R1200GS Adventure.

Sounds brilliant but I dont think Im going to fit your dates by the looks of it. I have to stay in Greece until around the 3rd July.

Re: Motorcycle sport & leisure.

I agree that ABR is a much better magazine. Too often Ive been disappointed by the lame writing and often out-of-date reporting in MS&L.

Re: Rider(s) Buddies wanted: London-Greece Return Mid June 2013

I have a R1200GS Adv.

Sounds good although I aim to cut out a bit of riding this year by taking the longer ferry (Venice-Patra). Also, I think from the look of your dates, you will be a bit ahead of me. I cant leave London until 16th June.

Rider(s) Buddies wanted: London-Greece Return Mid June 2013

Im setting off to see friends in the Greek islands around the 16th June, returning end of first week in July. Route south would be through France into northern Italy to the Venice to Patra ferry. This ferry is a 35 hour overnight down the Adriatic to the Greek mainland. Then the short ride across to...

Re: BMW F800 GS Vs R1200GS Adventure

I have had a R1200 GS Adventure since 2006. Love the bike and have travelled widely. But, its very heavy and sometimes, in some situations, its intimidating. Recently I rode a F800GS in Argentina and noticed how much lighter and more agile it was. Next month the new F800GS Adventure arrives with a b...

WANTED : Left hand 1200 GSA BMW Pannier

Don't laugh! Lost my left hand R1200 GS Adventure BMW original pannier on the M5 the other day! This is one of the original aluminium panniers supplied by BMW, not an after market type.

If anyone has one, in almost any condition at a reasonable price, please get in touch - thanks
