I thought i would update this as my bike is now legal in the UK. MSVA test was nothing major, i had concerns but the process was a pleasure. Next day i went for an MOT again passed on the frame number. Bike insured for 30 days on the frame number with Carole Nash. I posted the paperwork to the DVLA,...

Middle East, I bought it new in Abu Dhabi then exported it to Oman in 2014.

Hi Guys,
Ive shipped my KLR650 (2011) back to the UK and want to register this with the DVLA.
Has anyone knowledge of this process? Does the bike need a special inspection or is it just paperwork and an MOT?

Have a look @ Draggin Jeans. I crashed my KLR with these on and they saved my skin from the tarmac.

Ive got the Vango Banshee 200 and its good, im 6'3 and fit ok. No room for gear but it packs small. Ive had several Vango tents, all have been good.

Ive got the stash works good but not waterproof. I also use the US5 on my tank its a great bit of kit i would buy again.

I use Carol Nash for my UK bike because ive found them very good when it comes to claims.
