Re: Europe 2021

]Oh give over. You're heading for a situation where you're never going to do anything or go anywhere again. Covid isn't going to go away. If I catch it I catch it, though as I'll have had both vaccinations by then, it won't bother me anyway. But it is far less likely in rural France where there is ...

Re: Continental updates please

Spain opening up to UK visitors from tomorrow - Monday 24 May. Just looking at the Spanish government´s website, there is no mention of vaccination or PCR requirements. There is the reminder that people traveling have to comply with post-Brexit visa requirements (eg if not a tourist). While no doub...

Re: Europe 2021

Just because something isn't illegal, does it still mean that you should do it? In this case absolutely. You hide under your duvet. I'll live my life. Covid has a 99.4% survival rate - without vaccines. In 2022 nothing will have changed. The threat of mutations will still be here. The chances of ca...

Re: Europe 2021

Plenty of people from plenty of counties are touring Europe now on the TET. Word from the road says it’s quite doable, once in Europe many border crossings are being done without PCR results. Spain no longer requires either a test or a vaccine for entry. But I do think it’s best if the nervous stay...

Re: Europe 2021

Europe will be an option this year, albeit with a bit if extra hassle. The French are saying free PCR tests for tourists there already. Remember, the UK will be shite. Shite weather, shite traffic, shite costs. And I remember saying in 2020 "next year we'll go". If the Covid response kicks...

Re: Any current or former motorbike or car instructors on here?

Lots been said already. I'm a pro musician and music tutor... (wait for it) BUT I also have a full HGV licence and have worked for several haulage firms on a s/e basis, as well as working as a motorcycle instructor for several years on a part time basis. Both jobs have their merits. The poster that ...

Re: Covid 19 Coronavirus

Nowhere does your post address anything but Covid - which has been one of the biggest problems from some of the medical profession and certainly the government. The mind boggles....What do you expect the medical profession to concentrate on? Erm. The other 98% of the population that hasn't got Covi...

Re: Covid 19 Coronavirus

Flamair, we both have valid points, but I fear to debate them here will be too time consuming and will piss a lot of other people off! Perhaps we can do it over a beer. Once lockdown is lifted of course :-) [emoji106][emoji41][emoji16] Agreed. My dad always said a couple of things that've stuck in ...
