ahhhhhh .. didnt know it had been bodged I am finding more and more that bike operating systems .. eg clutch, lever, master-slave cylinder, plates, discs etc .. have to be exactly to spec, to avoid problems. The problem turned out to be the rear tyre rubbing the back of the front of the swing arm. This was due to having an oversize tyre. It could not be detected when cold but when the tyre warmed up it was like an inch bigger on diameter. Interesting observation. I did a strip down clean of my KTM befo...

But if this is a common problem it may be worth fitting an extra steel plate as suggested on fb. My clutch plates were black from front to back. suggesting an even resistance externally but yours are black just in the middle suggesting that the plates are not clamping down completely and slipping at...

I had clutch wear problems on my crf250l. I changed the plates/discs Twice and had HD springs. The Honda recommended oil also, and changed more than spec. yep .. like wot JB said 8-) lets the gas out, from charging. sealed batteries are different, obviously, and I use a different setting on my charger for that. I tried charging a new gel bike battery once .. and it would not charge. :roll: I put a new car battery on my little fiesta, over a year ago.....
