Re: The next step....

Hi Minky, great vids and very interesting, I have been thinking about getting a leccy bike, tried the Halfords Carrera and was impressed with its assistance and how relatively easy the peddling became - only did a few miles mind on a test ride. I thought that a bit more power would be required for t...

Re: EU. In or out?

Delusional ! Daveupwrite ! Germany -we are their second largest export market along with China. Germanie's economy relies upon exports which equal 40% of its GDP. France exports 30% of its GDP 25% of this to the UK - Spain is the same. It would be in their interests to find an equitable deal - just ...

The vote was clear - LEAVE - no ifs no buts. If parliament had accepted this and worked together Brussels would have listened more intently. BUT, the negotiators are protecting a deeply flawed system that is in trouble with a significant number of its members - strong arm tactics have been used to f...

Re: The good the bad & **********

Hi, I have broken down on 2 separate occasions in Europe whilst being insured with Carole Nash and they were superb. Worth noting if you do shop around, with CN if you are unable to ride, they will repatriate the bike for you - whilst riding with a buddy he broke his collar bone but the bike was ok,...

Re: The new fuel symbols for EU countries (from 12th October) - French Version

I don't know the truth of it, but I read that France is still producing the same amount of undrinkable wine that caused the wine lakes in the past, thanks to the common agricultural policy of guaranteed prices. The surplus wine is now being converted into petrol to get rid of it ! E10 ??

Re: French 80kmh limits

I have recently returned from France, approaching a main road with solid white line I did a rolling stop prior to turning right. No traffic in sight in either direction and clear view I pulled into the road - 2 bike cops ran into the middle of the road and directed me to the side. Having established...

Re: EDC Morocco, Africa, 2018. Open invite for FREE On/Off road & desert guided tour.

Hi Keith, I am not sure whether you received my email, but the neck injury did not heal so I underwent spinal surgery on 30th June. I seem to be recovering pretty well, but common sense (of which I have little) dictates that the trip would be perhaps pushing me luck ! So reluctantly I will not be jo...
